Oh thank God it's Friday!! That was my first thought when I woke up on this day. I found that my discomfort levels had diminished a little bit over night. I could actually move without whimpering, sometimes. The sitting down thing kept me whimpering though. Squats and lunges will do that to ya!
10 jump squats (when coming up from the squat, jump in the air)
10 v ups (instead of a sit up - raise both arms and legs at same time until core area in a V shape - LOVE these)
10 push press
5 burpees (huh?)
* 3 rounds
When he sent us this work out, my first question was, what the fuck is a burpee?! and my second question was he wants me to do WHAT?! Burpees are the bane of my existence in these workouts. From the day they were introduced until even now - into week nine. They are similar to a "squat and lunge," but I don't know if I've explained that well enough. I'd go to the Crossfit main homepage or google a "burpee." Disgusting exercises.
I was so grateful that it was Friday so I could go home and whimper all weekend long without people making fun of me.
