Wednesday April 13 - Day 83

I didn't know if I'd get to workout today.  I had to take my car in to a mechanic at lunch, but I texted the trainer for a workout anyway.  I was thinking he wasn't going to get back to me and then texted me at like 3:50 (you know what that means, right?)  I knew I was going to hate it or struggle with it, or both.

100 calories on bike
2 stair runs
50 alt v ups
3 rounds

Yeah.  I hated it and I struggled with it!  It took me forever to do 2 rounds and I did not complete the 3rd.  This is what I did:

100 cal on bike (3.5 miles)
2 stair runs
50 alt v ups

100 cal on bike (3.4 miles this time)
2 stair runs
50 alt v ups

50 cal on bake (can't remember the mileage)

that's it.  There were several things happening while I was trying to do this.  First of all, my thighs were on fucking fire.  Absolutely hate that bike!  On the first round, when I stepped off the bike, I thought my knees were going to give out.  Holy crap!  Could barely walk.

It went downhill from there.  My thighs were on fire the entire time and my shoulder started aching due to the bike having those mobile handles.  I ended up using the middle thing in the bike to put my hands so I could keep peddling without hurting my shoulder more.

Strangely, my shoulder currently feels better than it has in two weeks and I'm quite happy with that.  I won't lift again until it's 100%.  And oddly enough, I can't wait to be able to lift again!  Who knew I'd actually say I miss doing shoulder and push presses?  I miss the bent rows with the barbell or the dumbbell.  *sigh*  There are only so many abs exercises and cardio a girl can do before going nutty!
