I did not feel good today, at all. I don't know what it was. Could have been the cigarettes I smoked and I was kinda beating myself up for it. But I put the patch on this morning before work and my cravings actually weren't that bad.
I never heard back from the Trainer today, so I kind of just half assed some stuff
80 jump ropes
130 cal on bike
90 jump ropes
I was really focused on the bike thing this time. I wanted to time myself so I can start shaving time off of those parts of my workout. It took me 11:53 to do 100 calories on the bike, which ended up being 3.2 miles. I did the extra 30 calories backwards, to use the arms of the bike for my shoulder exercises.
I had decided to time myself on the 100 because I had been talking to one of the guys who works out sometimes with me and we got onto that topic. I made faces at him and told him to f*ck off at least once when he mentioned how long it took me to complete the bike portion of yesterday's workout. I may have made faces at him and told him to f*ck off, but what he said stuck with me and I found myself wanting to improve that time. But first I had to KNOW what that time was. I'm sure the 2nd 100 would have been higher just due to the fact the crap hurts my legs and I stop a lot so that my legs don't burst into flames.
So now I have a starting point on starting to shave time off of that 100 calories. We'll see how it goes and I'm sure I will eventually do it. When I was doing stairs the first few months, I hated them so badly I would half ass em and take forever to finish all the stair runs. Now I do those pretty fast for the most part (unless there are 10 in a row cause by #6 I'm slowing down!)
