Friday April 15 - Day 85

First thing this morning, ran into the trainer as I went outside for a cigarette.  *hangs head in shame*  I knew I was in for it with the workout.

Before he wrote it down for me, we were chatting about working out, Crossfit and other things.  Since I'm not a "real" Crossfitter in the truest sense of the word, I told him today once my shoulder heals, I will willingly do burpees every day if he prescribes them.  lol  He thought that was funny and shocking since I hate them so much.  I told him it's due to not being able to do ANY kind of lifting or weight bearing exercises and it's driving me batshit!  I can only do so many squats and situps or other abs exercises!

He gave me something a little different today:

100 calories on bike
100 jump rope
5 stair runs
as fast as possible

The bike, of course, had my thighs burning like hell again and I could barely walk when I got off the darn thing.

The jump rope?  This was a new experience and I really need to tell him to get out of my head.  I had JUST been thinking about whether he was ever going to have me do it.  Also, I've never been able to jump rope with both feet in the air at the same time, usually I'm like "stepping" as I jump rope.  I freaking loved this.  LOVED jumping rope.  I'm so incorporating that into my workouts when I don't hear from him.

And of course the stair runs kicked my ass, as he knew they would and he wanted to happen.  When I was done with the stairs and I was huffing and puffing down in the gym, he looks at me and says..."how's that smoking going for you?"

He sure is lucky God made him so smoking hot.  I may or may not have wanted to punch him when he asked me that.

Now to enjoy my two days of rest!
