Day 7's workout freaked me the hell out cause it was something new and the Trainer was not on that day, so we had to get the guys on Platoon 1 to help us.
1 stair run
20 sit ups
*3 rounds
21-15-9
thrusters and burpees
Okay. The first part of 3 rounds of sit ups and stairs was understandable. However, the second part was not so understandable. I asked my friend S on that shift to help us out. I seriously wish I had NOT asked him what a thruster was. We did 21 thrusters (squat with weight bar at chest, as standing up from squat - thrust bar into the air over head) and 21 burpees and then 15 of each and then 9 of each (hence the 21-15-9 thing) It was horrible. Disgusting. And of course, the burpees made it all so much worse.
Day 8 -
30 lunges
20 alt v ups
10 shoulder press
*3 rounds
5 stair runs as fast as you can
I did not complete the stair runs this day. It was horrible. I could not breathe worth a damn and I ended up doing I think 2.5 rounds of the stairs.
I justified it by saying I was still smoking, which I was.
