Do you have fitness goals? I do. I've had them since I started this journey. While my shoulder injury sidelined quite a few of those goals for me, I've created new ones.
One of the goals I was heading towards was being able to #1 - do regular push ups (not on my knees) #2 - do a pull up without having to jump or be propped up there.
Since the shoulder injury, I've done some research on Crossfit videos and I found one that pretty much sums up one of my fitness goals...
This is a guy doing GI Jane - a Crossfit WOD with pull ups involved.
Watch it. The guy is a beast! He does the WOD in about 10 minutes. I'm sure it will take me much longer, but I will eventually do this workout. I promise. When I promise, I'm promising myself. I've made commitments to myself during my whole fitness journey. You know I've taken too many sips of the Kool Aid when my fitness goal involves burpees of any kind.
