Yesterday, The Trainer was back from vacation but we had already pretty much decided I'd just be running stairs and/or riding the bike. So I did 5 stair runs; 50 cal on the bike; 30 squats for 2 rounds. I got pretty sweaty during the workout, but I've worked harder, that's for sure.
We were chatting a bit and apparently, I looked more frustrated than I thought and he asked if it was my shoulder or frustration that I couldn't really do anything. I told him it was a little bit of both. I'm going to keep doing something everyday - I don't want to get out of this habit, ya know? If I just NOT workout while my shoulder is healing, I will seriously get my ass whipped when it is 100% and he gives me more than I am used too. I can't let myself get out of the habit.
Today, I did 100 calories on the bike, 50 squats and 100 jump ropes. I half assed it and then left. I may end up asking him to make some stuff up for me. I tend to work harder when he gives me the workout. Even if it's the same shit I would have done anyway, ya know?
We'll see how it goes. I have two days to completely rest the shoulder and the rest of me, so I'll be ready for a little more cardio on Monday.
